An artist comes up with an awesome piece of art that reimagines what Spheal, an Ice/Water Pokemon, would look like as flavors of ice cream.
As its name suggests, Spheal resembles a seal. It has a circular shape with short fins on the sides of its body. Although the Pokemon may look like a seal, that didn’t stop a player from comparing it to another real-world object; one that is less apparent but much more appetizing.
Recently, a player known as ariamisu on Reddit decided to mix Pokemon and ice cream into an artwork they created, and they chose to feature Spheal from the Pokemon series in the picture. While many gamers have created artwork featuring this chubby seal-like creature, few have likely created an image transforming the pocket monster into different types of ice cream. However, that’s exactly what this Reddit user did.
In the image, ariamisu showcased six different Spheals, all featuring a unique flavor. Adding to the appeal of the image was the fact that the Pokémon was shaped conveniently like a scoop of ice cream. Impressively, the artist managed to include redesigns for each Spheal corresponding to Neapolitan, Pistachio, Cream Cookies, Raspberry Sorbet, Coffee, and even Onion. The Pokemon The fan gave each ice cream flavor a different selection of colors to help sell each one’s look. For example, Spheal cookies n cream had a black underbelly with a predominantly white upper side similar to the flavor it represented.
Since the publication of this work on Reddit, many Pokemon Unsurprisingly, fans were quick to offer suggestions for other flavors the artist should try to get Spheal to portray. With over 2,900 upvotes in a single day, many offered possible ice cream flavors to try. “Duty. Ont. Pumpkin Spice Spheal!” I-am-me said on Reddit. Additionally, some other suggested flavors included salted caramel, cotton candy, and mint chocolate. Additionally, ariamisu even revealed that their favorite flavor was coffee.
While this mouth-watering art by Spheal is undoubtedly memorable to many fans, it’s just one of many pieces of Pokemon online fan art. In fact, there is no shortage of creations featuring Spheal. For example, a player recently made an adorable Spheal animation in Blender that saw the pocket monster spinning in a small body of water. Time will tell what other pieces of fan art featuring the Pokemon will be shared with the community in the coming days.
