Chicago Food Vendors 2022 Taste Music List announced

Taste of Chicago’s full lineup of food and music entertainment vendors was announced Tuesday morning by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE).

Returning as a multi-date, multi-location event, entry to the festival will be free and once again the food vendors will only accept credit cards or cash in lieu of traditional food/drink tickets. The festival will also include SummerDance lessons and each location will include family fun activities for children of all ages.

Festival pop-up dates are June 11 in Austin; June 18 in Pullman; June 25 in Little Village; And a “small-sized” tasting in Grant Park July 8-10.

In Grant Park, more than 30 vendors will serve food from all over the city. Three stages will offer musical groups and dance instructions.

“After a fully virtual tasting in 2020 and pop-up community shows in 2021, we are excited to bring Taste back to Grant Park and back to our neighborhoods in 2022,” DCASE Commissioner Erin Harkey said in the official announcement. “We are excited to showcase the food and music of Pullman, Austin and Little Village this summer.”
