Did you know that 30% of Hampton Bays land is water? With serene beaches like Ponquogue as well as Sears Bellow County Park in Pine Barrens, the village is a water-lover’s dream. Moreso, we’d bet a good part of the area is made up of delicious restaurants.

Eating out at Hampton Bay

For soothing views and great food, Edgewater It is the right place for you. Located east of the Shinnecock Canal, customers have the option of dining on deck or indoors, where expansive window space affords great views.

If you’re trying to cut back on drinking, you probably shouldn’t go for it Sunday on the Gulf, which makes this remarkable endeavour difficult. Their happy hour show is available Monday through Friday (except Wednesdays) from 4 to 6 p.m. You can swing by $5 a beer, $8 for wine by the glass, and $8 for house-mix drinks.

Canal Cafe It is one of the best kept secrets in the entire Hamptons. Inside Shinnecock Marina, it serves fresh seafood with a waterfront view to compliment it. If you want to arrive the Bonds-esque way, pull up on a boat, watch just-caught fish clean up on the deck, and listen to live music throughout August.

Roomba It takes place on Island Time and on August 20th, reggae band Project Vibe will perform on a stage floating in the water! Enjoy the cool breezes and tropical libations and as their website declares, “The most delicious island food north

Cantina crash It debuted last May and has one of the most vibrant happy hours. Available from 3 to 6 pm, guacamole, oysters and pitchers are half available. It happens every day of the week, from Nacho Monday, Taco Tuesday, Wine Down Wednesday, and Churrasco Night on Friday.

New York times food critic Florence Factory You got her favourite flip the pot Return to the East series the end of this month! Fabricant will talk about pizza with Brandon Hoy, co-owner of Roberta’s Pizza. The discussion will take place at the newly minted Montauk pizzeria, and along with the cooking, there will be a presentation of mozzarella making and lunch.

Other dates include a cocktail making presentation at Sagaponack Farm Distillery on August 21 and simple vegetables Talking, displaying, tasting and signing with Chef Eric Riper at High Ground School. Get your tickets now!

There is a new food truck in town. Shmayleys Mobile Events Bar It is one of the first rolled-up ice cream companies on Long Island. For the uninitiated rolled ice cream, it originated in Thailand and is made by frying cream in a freezing cold skillet, spreading thinly and then rolling. Bring unique and delicious treats to Dan’s GrillHampton and Dan’s Bubbles this weekend at Dan’s Taste Signature August 5 and 6.
