Hello Woodlands in partnership with Operation Pet Alive It will begin highlighting a “Pet of the Month” featuring a domestic dog or cat available for adoption and/or adoption in Montgomery County, Texas. Operation Pets Alive is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization that strives to elevate Montgomery County into a no-kill society through innovative programs that raise community awareness, reduce the number of dogs and cats entering our shelters, and increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive.
For our first pet of the month, we’re excited to introduce you to Comet!
“The cute little Comet was just as irresistible as one of our dogs, but his adopters didn’t invest much time in training and decided to bring him back after 6 months. His 1st birthday was November 24th and he’s been in boarding for 5 months waiting for a sitter to bond with him. He had a sitter for a little while who has been taking him to adoption events, but is unfortunately unable to help him due to health issues.”
“He’s just like any other 1-year-old puppy, desperate for attention and ready to please with praise, especially after being returned by his adopters! Comet doesn’t seem to have any serious behavioral problems, he’s a bit quirky. If he gets the chance he loves to be petted.” He carries the leash in his mouth!Maybe he wouldn’t do well in a home with small children, because he’s so active and doesn’t realize his size.He loves people and other dogs, but some dogs might not like him in their faces-he’s still a puppy after all!He would make a good dog By training an athlete or a runner. Please do not underestimate the potential of this nice guy!”
“Guilt would love to be adopted and finally found #fureverfamily.”
