The infamous chef posted a video of himself crawling over a paddock full of lambs, chanting “I’m going to eat you”, as he climbs up one side of the fence. “MMMM,” he hummed from the top of the fence, rubbing his hands together. “Delicious yum yum yum yum yum.” Before fully entering the pen, startling the lambs, he asks, “Which goes in the oven first?”
Many thought the chef, who is well known not only for his love of meat dishes but also for his strong disregard for veganism, had gone too far with the clip.
“I like you but you better not be serious,” read one comment, while another added, “I was years old today when I lost all respect for Gordon Ramsay😳. ”“I’m not even a vegetarian but it’s very sad,” one user commented. “How soulless do you have to be to find that funny?” Come on people, we are better than that,” he continued.
Others found humor in the situation, referring to the sensitivity they perceived in some comments.
“People in these comments need to learn to take a joke,” said a supporting comment from the chef.
“People. We eat meat… I personally don’t like lamb, but I find it funny,” said another.
“Some people in these comments seem like they don’t know where the meat comes from 😂,” one person pointed out. “Bro sparked half the planet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣,” another user said.
It’s unclear whether people are more upset by the idea of the chef picking a lamb to slaughter on video or the fact that he scared the lambs in the pen – which, for what it’s worth, seems to have been accidental due to the instability of the fence. Either way, PETA entered the chat, slamming the chef for the job.
Elisa AllenPETA UK’s vice president of programs, said LADbible“Gordon Ramsay is an insensitive man who makes a fool of himself: bullying meek lambs is rude, not fun.”

What would be funny, she says, is for his children to become vegan and deny him, in the same spirit as Elon Muskthe daughter of. “These lambs are just babies who want little out of life but the chance to live it and not end up in that moron’s mouth – or anyone else.”
Of course, PETA has historically tended to overreact – or at least be accused of overreacting – like when they asked Pixar to redesign Little Bo Peep in T.oh story 4 or the MLB to rename the bullpen to the arm barn.
Replies to PETA’s tweet were full of trolls and Ramsay defenders.
“Intimidating lambs?! Jesus H Christ may be rude but bullying lambs are weird. He didn’t even raise his voice, if anything, he was quieter than usual. wrote a.
“I swear I was going to have pizza for dinner, but now I’m going to get some delicious lamb. Thanks PETA,” thinks another user.
“It’s the food that millions of people eat every day to recover,” wrote a third.
As with anything else, the people will never come to a complete agreement. Maybe Ramsay would have done better to keep the innocuous video in his archives. Although the legend appears to have since been changed, Initiated reports that Ramsay initially confirmed that no lambs were harmed.
